Value Quant Newsletter

Overall we gained 1.5%.  However, our benchmark the ETF SPY started at 127.05, and ended at 131.69, up 3.6%.  While we may have lagged the market this month, last month when the SPY was down 4.7% we only suffered a 1.4% loss. I am still carrying roughly 30% in cash waiting for the debt ceiling issue to show some clarity.

Our winners were EDMC, HS, MHLD, and UNH.  ENSG was cut from outperform to market perform by JPM and lost 8.4%.

Value Quant stock investing newsletter December 31st
